Black Mirror season 4 tries its hardest to create a good balance between fiction and reality. With its strong emphasis on building a narrative that feels unique and focuses on the relationship between humanity and technology, the series definitely knows how to stay way out the comfort zone adopted by other sci-fi anthologies. Millions of viewers fell in love with the structure of the show. It is a great collection of short stories about us and things we build. Each episode is a little adventure with new characters and an interesting idea in its core. Driven by great writing and a strive to be original, the series builds up nicely every year.
Black Mirror season 4 is yet another invitation to the mysterious world of multiverse. The showrunners decided to focus on delivering truly interesting stories and wrote 6 different episodes each with its own background. As usual, we will see how technology resembles a double edged sword that can be too sharp for us to handle. While every single episode has a moral that makes it more or less unique in its own right, the general idea of the show remains the same – we must be careful with advancing technology too fast and without any considerations regarding its possible applications in the future.
